Social Fund

Established in 2004, the iED Social Fund finances solidarity projects where employees are active stakeholders. To ensure the fund’s effectiveness, we conduct an annual review to determine the continuation of existing projects and explore new initiatives.

The “Que la joie demeure” association has managed the Montessori school nestled in the heart of the Drôme since 2013. Since 2016, IED has supported the school by funding specialized educational staff, essential equipment such as furniture and musical equipment, and building improvements to ensure accessibility to all students. Our goal is to expand the school to serve students aged 6 to 18 by 2025, incorporating educational farming and creating a community space for parents.

The Don Bosco Ashalayam is an NGO dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating street children in Calcutta. The organization provides shelter, food, education, sports, and cultural opportunities, supporting children until they become independent and fully integrated into Indian society. A loyal supporter since 2008, IED contributed to installing solar panels in homes in 2023, reducing electricity costs for families. We also support a mobile health service serving Kolkata’s street population.

Hervé Lapalud is a songwriter whose music transcends boundaries, finding a home in prisons, schools, hospitals, and wherever humanity needs a touch of hope. Since 2002, he has been a dedicated singer for the Lyon-based association Musigones (A Ray of Music in the Hospital) and leads songwriting workshops at the Romans Ferrari Pediatric Rehabilitation Center as part of the Culture in Hospital program. IED has been a long-time admirer and supporter of Hervé Lapalud’s inspiring work..

Rhône-Saône Légumes is a cooperative vegetable farm part of the Terra Alter network. This social enterprise supplies fresh, processed, and ready-to-eat vegetables to businesses and individuals alike. In 2022, IED invested in RSL Coop’s equipment and placed bulk orders, supporting job creation and the integration of disadvantaged individuals.

Ohana is an NGO dedicated to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children aged 0 to 8. Their focus is on fostering socialization, education, and community integration. In 2023, IED supported Ohana by funding extracurricular activities to enhance children’s social development.

Handi’chiens trains and provides free assistance dogs to individuals with disabilities. The rigorous two-year training program includes a 16-month foster period and a 6-month intensive training phase at a Ministry of Agriculture-certified center. In 2023, IED supported Handi’chiens’ training efforts and welcomed Taïga, a Handi’chien-in-training, to our office.
