Context

The Togo Electric Energy Company (CEET) is actively involved in programs aimed at extending the electricity supply. To enhance customer management and improve the organization of its maintenance teams, CEET sought to implement a Geographic Information System (GIS) for its electricity distribution infrastructure and customer base. This initiative involves establishing a centralized GIS at the headquarters, supported by a database that integrates the elements of the Greater Lomé distribution network and connected subscribers.

Activities & Results

We were selected following an international call for tenders for the design, supply and installation ofa centralized GIS and a data visualization application. Our services consisted of:

  • Collection and digitalization of distribution networks in the Greater Lomé area: 4,200 km of LV/HTA lines and 380,000 subscribers.
  • Georeferencing of networks: identification of the technical characteristics of source stations, line poles, and transformers.
  • The development of a centralized GIS and data visualization application.
  • The purchase and delivery of office and computer equipment.
  • The installation of a server room and its corresponding IT infrastructure (redundancy, security, etc.)
