The ERD ZIGO project (Decentralized Rural Electrification of the ZIRO and GOURMA provinces) aims to electrify 45 villages in the Gourma and Ziro provinces of Burkina Faso. The project involved the installation of two hybrid production plants (PV/biomass/diesel and PV/diesel) along with associated HTA/LV distribution networks. Additionally, it supported the development of new productive activities and enhanced the skills of the local FDE (Electrification Development Fund)
